Las Vegas criminal defense attorney Gabriel L. Grasso has had an impressive legal career beginning with a short stint in corporate defense and culminating in over 30 years of criminal defense work. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree, Mr. Grasso pursued a civil litigation career with a nationally recognized New York based firm. During this time, Mr. Grasso defended major corporations such as Union Carbide and Alcoa Aluminum.

After only eight short months in the civil litigation world, Mr. Grasso realized that criminal trial work was where he wanted to spend his career and accepted a position as the Assistant Public Defender for Broward County, Florida. This opportunity allowed Mr. Grasso to practice in all areas of criminal defense from simple drug possession cases to capital homicide cases.

This extensive criminal trial work allowed Mr. Grasso to start his solo practice in 1995 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He has represented both private and court-appointed defendants in all criminal matters, with an emphasis on major felonies in the areas of drug trafficking, life felonies and firearms offenses.

In 2000, Mr. Grasso became licensed to practice in Nevada and moved to Las Vegas to continue his criminal defense practice. Since that time, he has defended many high-profile criminal cases in both state and federal court. Past Nevada cases include successful representation of defendants in the "Rolling 60's Crips" and "Hells Angels" federal prosecutions, as well as the "311 boys" in state court. In 2007, he became Las Vegas counsel for O.J. Simpson and was part of the defense team, which represented Mr. Simpson in the infamous Palace Station Casino memorabilia case.

Mr. Grasso's impressive win-loss record for criminal trials is a result of over 30 years of defense practice. He has successfully defended cases involving DNA analysis, scientific eyewitness identification issues, entrapment claims in large drug trafficking prosecutions and psychiatric testimony in sexual battery prosecutions.

Today, Gabriel L. Grasso is considered one of Nevada's finest trial lawyers. He is dedicated to representing clients who have been accused or charged with federal or state criminal matters. He is licensed to practice in Nevada and Florida, and has appeared in various other states before multiple federal and state courts.
